Today, a contemporary blues guitar solo without a couple of King-inspired bent notes is practically unheard of. Since his four-star breakthrough in 1949, King and Lucille, his beloved guitar, have released over 50 albums. This 13-time Grammy winner’s hits include "Payin’ the Cost to be the Boss," "The Thrill Is Gone" and "Why I Sing The Blues."
