The national Broadway tour. There's no better way to introduce your family to the wonders of live theater than with the magic, the mystery, the memory of CATS. What began as a musical about cats after Andrew Lloyd Webber picked up a book of poems in an airport bookshop has become one of the longest running shows in Broadway's history. Winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, CATS features 20 of Andrew Lloyd Webber's timeless melodies, including the hit song "Memory."

Additional Information:

So why did it take so long for the Capitol Center to book the national Broadway tour of CATS? We’ve tried for years, but it always came down to a matter of feet and inches: On previous national tours, the giant tire, one of the show’s signature set pieces, was always too big to fit through the Center’s backstage doors. And what’s CATS without the tire, on which Old Deuteronomy and Grizabella ascend to the heavens at the end of the show? The designers of this newest tour figured out a way to fit the tire through the loading door of the Capitol Center and many similar vaudeville-era theaters around the country: It splits apart into pieces that can be reassembled on stage. Brilliant!

Premier seating is reserved for Capitol Center members. Click here to learn about all the great benefits of CCA membership and to sign up today!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a scheduling conflict the producers rescheduled this performance from Sunday, April 11. Tickets for the April 11 performance are still valid. If you have them in hand and wish to attend on April 25, simply bring your current tickets to the new performance. If your tickets are being held at will call, you may still pick up your tickets any time during regular box office hours, including the night of the performance.

If you cannot or do not wish to attend the April 25 performance, we will, of course, refund your purchase, plus all service charges. Please note all requests for refunds must be processed by the close of business on March 1, 2010 to allow time for the tickets to be resold. After this date refunds will no longer be available.

If you have print-at-home tickets or your tickets are being held at will call, please call the box office at (603) 225-1111 to request your refund. If you have the printed tickets in hand, you may either bring the tickets to the box office during regular business hours or mail them to the Capitol Center.
