M.T. Mennino Legacy Fund
The M.T. Mennino Legacy Fund, named in memory of former Capitol Center Executive Director M.T. Mennino, honors those who
have included the Capitol Center for the Arts in their estate plans. These
planned gifts help ensure the future of the Capitol Center for the Arts by
building the permanent endowment. Planned gifts can also provide attractive
benefits to donors in the form of tax savings and future income.
There are two primary types of planned gifts:
Charitable Bequests. The most
common planned gift is a bequest. It can be as simple as including a paragraph
in your will making a gift to the Capitol Center for the Arts. Charitable
bequests can dramatically reduce your estate taxes.
Life Income Gifts. These versatile planned gifts can meet charitable intent and
offer many financial and tax advantages. A life income gift can allow you to
receive an income as a result of making a charitable gift to Capitol Center for
the Arts.
These are but two of the many planned giving options from which you can choose.
Before you make any decisions about charitable giving, consult with your own
financial and legal advisors to make certain you choose a plan that best suits
your unique situation.
