School Series Strategies for Students in the Classroom
Dates and Times TBA
Capitol Center teaching artists have developed highly interactive, integrated activities that will introduce students to the relevant topics before seeing selected School Series performances, or aid students in analyzing themes after the theater experience. All activities link to NH curriculum frameworks and provide students with a deepened understanding of the performance, literature and reading connections and the world around them.
Pre- and post-performance workshops are available for the performances listed below either before or after your group’s attendance at the performances (or both!).
“Magic Tree House®: The Musical” (February 10)
“Balla Kouyaté & World Vision ” (February 17)
“Romeo and Juliet” (March 3)
“The Magic Flute” (March 10)
“The Silent Boy” (March 23)
“Blues Journey” (April 1)
“Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters” (April 13)
“Letters Home” (May 21)
